Milford on Sea

Out and About in the New Forest

Milford on Sea

A thriving coastal village, Milford on Sea offers the best of both forest and beach. The New Forest National Park starts at the edge of Milford on Sea in the beautiful coastal hamlet of Keyhaven.  Milford even boasts it's very own forest walks following the Danestream through the Pleasure Grounds.  You can walk directly from your Shorefield Holiday lodge through the woodland and to the beach!

Brockenhurst is the perfect setting for a family day out in the New Forest.  With cosy pubs, perfect picnic spots, easy to access forest walks and little streams to splash about in, there is plenty to keep everyone happy here.  You'll often see the New Forest ponies here, especially outside the Balmer Lawn Hotel and in the Autumn if you're lucky you'll spot the pigs and piglets gobbling all the acorns during the pannage season.  Careys Manor Hotel and Spa offers a relaxing place to stay in Brockenhurst.
